Coastal cluster kiwi soft ball

On Wednesday the 2 of December Clive school,parkvale,school,homuana, eskdale school went coastal cluster softball.

When all the classes done the roll we all meet at the sun shelter then Mr Wallace and Mr Bassett called our teams out there wasClive1,Clive 2, Clive 3 ,Clive 4and Clive 5 .

When we done our team callers we all head of to coastal cluster softball at fardon park we all walk parst the church,cross the main road,up the hill onto the bridge,across the bridge and the on the field.

Where on the field all we could see was lot's of red and green we walk to the seats they where very tall I sat at the bottom cause it looked scary then we heard a horn go of and heard a big voice say Korea whanu welcome to softball Thi is the last day of softball for 2015 then he told us his name he was our coach for the day the he told us what number diamond to go to .

Clive 3 went to number 7 first we walked over where we was facing eskdale school we all had to have a choice of being field or bat we choose field the horn went we get to one of the basses and the rest was fielders .

The bowler bowled bang the bat hit the ball I grab the ball and give to bass one bass one gave it to bass two  bass two gave it to bass three and home we heard a stop that runner stop and ran back to there batter spot then they went over and over again .

Then it was our tern to bat I went first I bat it over to the other diamond   I ran and I ran I made us six points then when our hole team had a team the horn went of we move to  diamond to diamond .

Then we finish all our games  we walk back to the seats then our coach  had a speach then we all walked back to school and had our lunch.

Technology

Today  we done a technolog project  with ice block sticks , a meter of  salatape , a meter of string and 3 straws. We jumped into teams of three heaven-lee,Lilah and max  we where a team. Today we had to make a  malball to stand at the end of the sticks we won by 54cm we had fun I was happy with our team work max and Lilah where too. Well done team

Jonah Lomu

      On the 18 November it was a sad day for the all blacks because Jonah Lomu had died from some won gived him a new kidne it was very sad he was the young ist in the team .

It was a💔 breaking for the kids Jonah Lomu wanted to see his kids grow up and play rugby for the all blacks so that was sad for the kids .the wife was sad to see him die.

Optimis yacht

On Tuesday room 06 went optimis yachting with Mr Bassett. We went to Pandora pond we had transport people to help us to get to Pandora pond it was very hot there. before we got our gear for the boat we had to put on a life jacket to be safe then we got our gear for the boat and put it together  it was very hard but we got it together. when we got it together we put the boat on the water then zyggys nan gave us a super big push. then we head off, Zyggy done the Rutter and I done the main sheet it was fun . Me and Zyggy keep crashing into the side then I had to jump in the water it was very cold I push the boat with a big push and I jump back in the boat three minutes later  we flip out of the boat into the water it was very very cold but very hard to get the boat back up so we  call for help and mr Bassett came in the speed boat and flip the boat back over again. then we jumped in the boat and went back to shore.
